The Service Technician’s objective is to ensure that Onsite Safety (OS) is the most trusted provider of safety services on each job site they visit. They do this by modeling our culture, following safety policies of our builders and OS and providing quality safety services during the construction phase of each commercial project in their assigned market. They install and remove safety equipment for each assigned job according to specifications set forth by the builder and OS standards. They also train new team members on how to perform all safety services. Service Technician exemplifies and upholds Onsite Safety’s mission, vision, and core values in all areas of responsibility.

Requirements :

Essential Job Functions

• Installs and removes temporary and permanent fall protection equipment with precision in accordance with OSHA, Manufacturers’ & OS standards.
• Communicate with the project manager about the progress and status of each area for which they are responsible.
• Complete additional training as required. (OSHA, OS, Equipment)
• Communicate professionally with the customer.
• Convey escalated concerns from the customer to the Project Manager.
• Accurately documents jobs using software, photos, recording equipment counts, and updating job status.
• Daily inspections and safety documentation requirements of equipment we are using.
• Operate an assigned company vehicle in accordance with fleet manual and state laws and inspect on a regular basis to maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Relationship

Reports to : Project Operations Manager

Works closely with : Project Managers, Service Technicians, and Job Site Superintendents.
