We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine tools, PLC and electrical diagrams, and industrial mechanics. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring all systems operate efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and functionality of our equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.

Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and referencing applicable machine manuals.

Dismantles machinery and removes / replaces defective parts.

Coordinates required specialized services with reputable vendors.

Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.

Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.

Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.

Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment

Familiarity with safety standards and

In-depth knowledge of system maintenance

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment

Familiarity with industrial mechanics and the ability to perform mechanical repairs.

Experience with ammeter usage for electrical diagnostics is preferred.

Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.

Military experience is considered an asset but not required.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
