Job Description Overview
Currently we are seeking a Senior Lease Analyst to join our Lease Administration team. Our Lease Administration platform supports a diverse set of client needs from basic management of lease abstractions and critical dates to full financial management of landlord invoices and reconciliation audits, we provide comprehensive knowledge and access to data across the portfolio that enables our clients to make strategic real estate decisions that support and enhance their core business.
Responsibilities
- Interpreting commercial lease documents (leases, amendments, subleases)
- Rent analysis and rent payment processing for the international portfolio
- Client / Vendor relationship management
- Resolution of rent and other landlord / tenant issues
- Data entry and data management of lease documents
- Tracking and maintaining critical dates
- Financial analysis
- Develop process improvements around recurring themes in order to ensure data accuracy
- Respond to Lease Analyst questions regarding procedures, lease interpretation, and billing calculations
- Manage and act as central point of communication for abstraction and international teams
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute monthly reporting to client and internal / external stakeholders
- Train abstraction team for changes in process or implementation of new guidelines
- Monitor abstraction timeframes for all regions, being a point of escalation for any delays or issues
- Tracking document cycle times
- Participate and aid with account and lease audits
- Special projects as assigned by manager
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of work experience in lease administration, real estate accounting or property management with exposure to commercial leasesPrior experience with using a lease administration database preferredStrong ability to interpret complex commercial lease languageAdvanced financial / analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsSuperb organizational skillsSuperior attention to detailDesire to learn and growAbility to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partnersAbility to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workloadAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with the capability to master company specific accounting and database programsA desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environmentEstimated compensation for this position : 59,000.00 86,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
