Job Description :

RBM Partners is seeking an experienced Service Technician. The Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of our multifamily real estate assets. This role requires in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Job Duties :

• Assist the Service Manager with higher level maintenance items involving plumbing, HVAC, and electrical tasks.
• Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Perform routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify and diagnose issues and develop cost-effective repair solutions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of HVAC equipment.
• Replace or upgrade components, including compressors, motors, filters, and thermostats, as needed.
• Complete maintenance work orders and make ready tasks as assigned by the Service Manager and Community Manager.
• Perform ground maintenance, assist with trash removal, and participate in property inspections daily and as directed by the Service Manager or Community Manager
• Participate in preventative maintenance plans for the community.
• Assist in the improvement of service processes and procedures.
• Communicate with the Service Manager daily and report deficiencies with the assets, resident issues and propose action to repair / correct.
• Follow policies and procedures for managing shop inventory efficiently as directed by the Service Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or less experienced team members.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both residents and team members.
• Will participate in the on-call rotation.
