Provides assistance to the audiologists related to general hearing aid management and care, as well as the processing of paperwork for patient management plans. Meets patient needs related to basic hearing aid care, is responsible for hearing aid supplies and maintaining incoming and outgoing hearing aid inventory. Also responsible for the collection, accuracy, and verification of invoices and preparation for payables, communication with insurances and other entities in a formal written and verbal manner. This role also supports and fulfills front office staffing as needed. Completes all required training when scheduled allowing none to become delinquent. Practices work in a safe manner, following proper protocols of infection control, accident prevention, proper body mechanics, etc. Attends meetings / training sessions as directed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Special Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent
• 2 or more years of experience in the healthcare industry is required
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to communicate general patient instructions related to hearing aid care
• Demonstrate effective communication with a customer and simplifying complex information.
• Experience working in a role that requires prioritization of multiple critical priorities while ensuring quality and achievement of performance metrics.
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements including OSHA, maintenance of clinical skills and certifications, etc.
• Excellent phone presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to build productive internal and external relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Epic knowledge required.
