Requirement : Software Tester

Job Description : Forge requires a Software Tester to join our team supporting the U.S. Army. This individual will work side by side with scrum teams to understand requirements, review features, perform extensive integration tests, and document test scripts and results and work closely with developers to review results.

Key Responsibilities : Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to) :

Work with SMEs and scrum teams to understand user stories

Review implementation of user stories

Perform integration testing Document test results and issues in user stories

Review test results and demonstrate issues to development teams

Rapidly answer questions for the development teams

Maintain Active Security Clearance

Qualifications / Requirements :

The Candidate must have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They must also build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The Candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications :

• US Citizen

Five years of professional experience

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline

Experience with Jira

Software Experience with GitLab

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience documenting test results within a backlog

Highly Desired Qualifications :

Scrum or SAFe certification

Active Security Clearance

Comptia Security+ certification

Appian experience (or other low code platform)

API experience

Job : Full-time

Location : DC, MD, VA area (Telework, Travel up to 10 times / yr)

Salary Range : $115k - $135k / yr
