Health Saviours is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Salinas, California.

Job Title : Occupational Therapist (OT)

Shift : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Location :   Salinas, CA

Days : Monday – Friday

Contract Length : 17 weeks

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve ADLs (activities of daily living).
  • Provide direct therapy to residents recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
  • Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing, and care teams to support resident goals.
  • Document progress notes and update treatment plans per facility and regulatory guidelines.
  • Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on adaptive techniques and equipment use.

    • Requirements

    Active state Occupational Therapist license (must be valid in facility state).

    NBCOT certification .

    SNF / Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

    Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
