Duties / Responsibilities

Duties / Responsibilities

Designing and conducting experiments to identify and characterize anti- CRISPR proteins from viruses; and to identify and characterize new viruses and plasmids from hyperthermophilic archaea; and to understand detailed molecular mechanisms of prokaryote-viral defense / counter-defense interactions.

Assisting with the daily operations of the laboratory including maintenance of phage and bacteria stocks.

Preparing manuscripts and presenting findings at conferences in coordination with the PI, for the dissemination of your findings.
