job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProficient with the operation of a CNC machine Ability to complete set-ups on various types of CNC machines Familiar with standard machine shop metrology equipment and be proficient with reading gages. Able to make machine adjustments as necessary based on tool wear and gage feedback. Required to follow safety protocols. Expected to complete inspection documentation as required by process control plan. Able to perform preventative maintenance and 5S guidelines Familiar with G&M code Working in a team environment and required to communicate effectively with other team members. Required to work 10-12 hours shifts on their feet. Familiar with metric / standard conversion. Willing to train other machine operators as needed.
