Job Summary
Skilled position in customer service requiring outstanding computer and analytical skills. Uses Microsoft Office, Central Square utility billing software, and Neptune Reading software to assist utility customers. Coordinates the necessary follow-up action with other functional areas to resolve customer inquiries. Assists in the collection of delinquent utility accounts. Investigates customer complaints concerning services and billing. Examines bills, meter readings, and related records to determine the validity of customer complaints. Notifies customers and appropriate personnel of findings and / or adjustments. May follow up on actions taken to ensure customer satisfaction.
