Manager, Technical Accounting And Policy
Join us as a manager, technical accounting and policy and make a strategic impact on how we shape our financial future. This role offers the opportunity to influence key accounting policies, collaborate across teams, and tackle complex challenges with confidence and creativity. This is a senior, individual contributor role, reporting to the senior director.
Responsibilities
Lead technical accounting research and provide clear guidance on emerging GAAP, SEC, and statutory requirements.
Partner with business leaders to assess the impact of new accounting standards and implement solutions that drive compliance and efficiency.
Consult on complex transactions, including M&A and investment strategies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Develop and deliver training to finance teams, fostering knowledge and best practices across the organization.
Monitor industry developments and proactively recommend policy enhancements to support strategic growth.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in technical accounting or policy management.
Deep knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and statutory requirements.
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
CPA certification required, MBA a plus.
Experience in healthcare, insurance, or investment accounting.
Proven ability to build business partnerships and deliver results in a hybrid work environment.
