Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An elementary school in Kansas City, KS, seeks a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year to support a low incidence, center-based LIFT program. This full-time, contract position offers a structured environment to deliver specialized instruction for students with significant needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in a low incidence setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Utilize specialized instructional strategies tailored to students with disabilities
• Maintain accurate records and municate regularly with families and staff
• Participate in ongoing professional development and advisory mentorship programs
