Our mission is to provide accessible, high quality care that addresses each of our clients individual needs. We improve access to care by working with insurance including Medicare and Medicaid. Our multidisciplinary team of prescribers and therapists offer mental health services, in-office and virtually, to patients of all ages.
About the Role
Clarity Behavioral Health is hiring! We're seeking a Part-Time Head of Therapy to provide both clinical leadership and direct patient care within our growing mental health clinic. This role is ideal for a seasoned therapist who is passionate about supporting both clients and clinicians, maintaining clinical excellence, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
The Head of Therapy will manage a small caseload of clients while overseeing all therapists within the clinic, including provisionally licensed clinicians. They will serve as the official clinical supervisor as required by the New Jersey State Board, ensuring compliance with all supervision and licensing regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Supervision
- Serve as the official clinical supervisor for provisionally licensed therapists in accordance with New Jersey state requirements.
- Offer clinical guidance, case consultation, and mentorship to all therapists.
- Oversee clinical documentation standards and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
Team Management & Development
Manage and support the therapist team, including performance management, goal-setting, and conducting performance reviews.Partner with leadership to develop and implement professional development plans for therapists.Collaborate with recruitment to identify, interview, and onboard new clinicians.Therapy Programming
Act as a thought partner in the design and implementation of therapy programs, modalities, and care models.Contribute to clinic-wide initiatives to improve client outcomes and therapist satisfaction.Partner with leadership on quality assurance, clinical workflows, and scaling care delivery.Direct Patient Care
Maintain a small, manageable caseload of clients, providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy.Model best practices in clinical documentation, engagement, and treatment planning.Our therapists are committed to driving quality access to care and tailoring mental health treatment plans to meet the unique needs of every client. Qualifications
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey, with a current license in good standing.Approved by the New Jersey State Board to supervise provisionally licensed therapists.5+ years of post-licensure experience; prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Ability to balance administrative and clinical responsibilities effectively.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Committed to providing culturally responsive and inclusive care tailored to each individual's needs.Preferred if you are currently credentialed with Medicare & Medicaid clients.What We Offer
