We are seeking a Plumbing Estimator with a strong background in plumbing and construction to join a growing team in Palm City. This role is ideal for a seasoned or retired plumber who has hands-on field experience and a deep knowledge of plumbing codes, but is ready to bring that expertise into the office to support estimating and project planning.
Responsibilities
- The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing plans, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate plumbing estimates for commercial and residential construction projects.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials
- Develop detailed cost estimates, bids, and proposals for plumbing projects
- Analyze labor, materials, and equipment costs to prepare competitive estimates
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to clarify project requirements
- Ensure all estimates comply with local, state, and national plumbing codes
- Maintain strong vendor and subcontractor relationships for accurate pricing
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
- Salary range : $80,000 – $90,000 annually (based on experience)
