    • Experience with a variety of patient diagnoses and procedures in the emergency setting
    • Ability to float within the facility as needed
    • Comfortable with managing critical situations and providing immediate care
    • Description :

      This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse working a 3x12 hour midday shift.

      Registered Nurse will provide care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

      The role may involve floating to various departments as scheduling requires.

      Emergency room nurses will encounter a wide range of health conditions including abdominal pain, asthma, drug overdose, and trauma cases such as gunshot wounds.

      Skills required include initiating and maintaining IVs, performing intubation, managing violent behavior, and administering emergency medications.

      The nurse will work closely with interdisciplinary support teams, which includes respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

      Nurses must adhere to infection control policies and ensure patient safety at all times.

      Professional references from recent employers will be required.

      Candidates must be available to work every other holiday.

      It is essential to possess strong communication and critical thinking skills for effective patient care in high-pressure situations.

      All applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their experience and skills in an emergency department setting.
