Overview :
Key responsibilities include routing and managing daily delivery operations. Develops, implements, and optimizes efficient delivery routes to minimize costs and maximize speed and customer satisfaction. Monitors and supervises driver performance. Ensures transportation activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, such as Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Ensures safety compliance and maintains accurate records, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Works with internal teams to coordinate daily operations, manages dispatching of vehicles, and responds to emergencies by finding alternate routes. Serves as a point of contact for customers, fosters positive relationships, and resolves customer issues to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. Responsible for assisting the logistics manager with associate calls, customer calls, new associate training, maintenance of equipment, and all aspects of the logistics department.
