Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details :

  • Work 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts
  • On-call requirement every other weekend from Friday night at 4 : 00 PM to Monday morning at 5 : 59 AM
  • Potential to float to Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 depending on daily assignments
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS via American Heart Association
  • Must obtain one of the following certifications : RCIS, RCES, RCS by CCI, or CI / CV / VI by ARRT
  • New Mexico state licensure required (RRT, CS, DMS, FUS, or VS by MIRTP NMED)
  • Graduate from accredited radiology technology school or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred
  • Prepare catheterization lab and operate essential equipment including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition
  • Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately
  • Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards
  • Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
  • Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
  • Support cardiac catheterization procedures and anticipate physician needs
  • Adhere to organizational dress code and attendance policy
