Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 16 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room RN to join our perioperative team. This role is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and proficient in supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties. Key Responsibilities : Prepare the OR with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile environment Monitor patient status intraoperatively and communicate effectively with the surgical team Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, medications, and patient information Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times Provide post-anesthesia care and coordinate with PACU staff as needed Qualifications : Active RN license in good standing Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience in an acute care setting Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation Ability to work efficiently in high-stress, fast-paced environments Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
