Senior Accountant will play an integral role in the Shared Services accounting group with a focus on sand cost forecasting, reporting, and accounting duties. The position will also assist the current team with daily and monthly responsibilities while providing analytical support to management and operations. Also, with the EAP acquisition and in anticipation of an additional sand mine in Ohio, the accountant will provide support towards the additional duties while allowing further development of the team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze sand forecast and modeling for Divisions
- Sand plant cost management for West Texas, South Texas, and Ohio
Z&T, Treedog and Abrego, Ohio
Trucking cost management for DivisionsSupport for additional activity in Ohio relating to EAP acquisition and future Ohio sand lease and mineReconciling G / L balances and costs allocated to DivisionsMaintain vendor relationship, communication, and invoicing reconciliationDivision coordination and communication of costVariance analysis of monthly and quarterly costsSupport day-to-day accounting functions that relate to sand purchases, trucking logisticsMaintain and manage current and future sand and trucking commitmentsLease AccountingSupport for future additional workloadsJOB REQUIREMENTS
Details :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, CPA is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in related business field with a minimum of 18 hours of accounting will be considered.5+ years of oil and gas industry accounting experience with a concentration in operations accounting preferredStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent communications skillsStrong familiarity and working knowledge of COPAS operating agreementsHighly self-motivated with ability to multi-task and meet rigorous deadlinesRequires accuracy and strong analytical skillsProficient knowledge of Windows, Excel, and WordKnowledge of AS400 system, MS Query, or SQL a plusPosition will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
