Pratt & Whitney has an immediate onsite opportunity within the Military Engines Program Financial Support (PFS) Organization for a Principal Specialist for Financial Planning and Analysis supporting our TF33 Program. The position will be located onsite at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.

What You Will Do :

  • Management of the TF33 Program including contract execution, contract closure, support of proposals, and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Financial Plan Setting.
  • Monthly Sales / COS / Margin Forecasting.
  • Detailed Variance Analysis.
  • Inventory / Risks / Opps / Orders / Deliveries tracking.
  • External customer financial reporting (Contract Funds Status Report, Letters of Funding).
  • Invoice preparation and accounts receivable reconciliations.
  • Comprehensive Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis.
  • Contract execution and funding status.
  • Proposal / Rough Order of Magnitude / Not To Exceed support and Negotiations.
  • Teaming closely with Program Office, Contracts, Operations, Supply Chain, and Pricing departments.
  • Spare Parts delivery and cost analysis.
  • Excess and Obsolete analysis.
  • Provide financial business guidance and recommendations to Program Management and participate in relevant program management meetings.
  • MRP and Overdue reporting.
  • Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of related experience OR advanced degree with 3+ years of related experience.
  • SAP and Microsoft office proficiency required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to program system requirements.

  • Proficiency in OneStream.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work on cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter who enjoys a dynamic work environment.
  • Highly adaptable team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Well organized person, able to plan, forecast, and track progress and to use written, verbal, and analytical skills to influence business objectives.
  • Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) contracting experience.

    This role is : Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

    The salary range for this role is $82,000 - $164,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require RTX to shorten or extend the application window.
