Kearney, NE - Kearney Cancer Center
Cancer Partners of Nebraska is excited to expand our team at our brand-new, cutting-edge location at the Kearney Cancer Center. We are seeking qualified and compassionate professionals - either a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - to support our oncology team in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

What You'll Do
Clinical Support
- Accompany patients to exam / procedure rooms and assist with mobility or prep as needed
- Record vitals, patient history, and assist with specimen collection and screenings
- Support physicians and nurses during bone marrow biopsies and other sterile procedures
- Relay provider instructions clearly to patients and families
Administrative & Workflow
Prepare necessary medical records for appointmentsCall in prescriptions and complete relevant forms or lab requisitionsMaintain a clean, fully stocked exam area, following infection control proceduresRequirements & Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
High school diplomaGraduate of an accredited medical assisting programCurrent Nebraska LPN or National CMA certificationAlso Required
Current CPR certificationPrefer at least 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical settingPhysical & Environmental Requirements
Frequent walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and patient assistanceAbility to view computer screens and perform fine motor tasksOccasional exposure to body fluids, medications, and infectious materialsWhy You'll Love It Here
