This position is located in Manhattan Beach, CA or Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. Relocation assistance may be provided.
What You'll Get To Do :
The selected candidate for this role will lead a team of Guidance, Navigation & Control (GN&C) engineers who will continue to mature the Guidance System's Guidance Computer from Preliminary Design phase to a Critical Design Review and beyond. The role involves day to day management of the Guidance Computer team. The individual must be capable of leading a team in a highly dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities. The individual must be able to communicate effectively with upper management and customer.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9 / 80. The 9 / 80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You'll Bring These Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) 3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports. 2 years of experience taking a system through a major design review and development. 2 years of experience with program control (IMS, EVMS), budgeting, and staffing. Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret with SAP clearance
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have :
Success taking a GN&C system through a major design review Proposal Manager experience leading competitive proposals of $500M in value or greater. Experience training, leading, and directing activities of team members through execution of a formal proposal process. Knowledge and understanding of the U.S. Government's competitive acquisition process including federal procurement regulations (FAR / DFAR) Familiarity in working multiple colors of money in parallel (Direct, NCTA, Capital)
