Operational Risk Management Professional

We are seeking a strategic, proactive, and detail-oriented Operational Risk Management professional focused on Finance and Investments. This position is responsible for assisting management with the identification, assessment, management, mitigation, and reporting of operational risk across Investments, Finance, and Treasury functions. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Finance and Investment processes and assist management with ensuring effective internal control frameworks are in place, and in alignment with regulatory and accounting frameworks. The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to support adoption of the company's risk management framework, enterprise risk practices, and standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing the company's risk management capabilities and strengthening the company's risk culture.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support execution and continuous improvement of the Operational Risk Management Framework within the broader Enterprise Risk Management program
• Lead risk engagements with Finance, Treasury, Investment Accounting, and Actuarial functions
• Facilitate and execute Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) in collaboration with business units, helping to identify, document, and assess key risks and control
• Analyze operational risk events and near misses to determine root cause, trends, and preventative actions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop risk mitigation plans and oversee / track remediation
• Prepare regular operational risk reporting for senior management and committees, ensuring effective communication and escalation
• Promote a strong risk culture through training, communication, and advisory support
• Manage the Company's corporate insurance program, including but not limited to property, Directors & Officers (D&O), Errors & Omissions (E&O), cyber liability, etc., liaising with insurance brokers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The range for the role may differ based on the location.
