Regional Color Match Laboratory Manager-Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
The Regional Color Match Laboratory Manager oversees six Regional Color Match Laboratories (RCML) across North America. This role supports customer project requests, quality systems, and standardized processes. The primary responsibility is to provide leadership, drive continuous improvement, and ensure consistency in color management operations, processes, and employee development.
Essential Job Functions
- Research, develop, and implement continuous standardization processes that support new technologies, business goals, and objectives using Six Sigma tools, color software / hardware tools, and data analysis.
- Review statistical data to identify process defects, testing exceptions, and service trends.
- Direct and coordinate improvement and prevention plans with team members.
- Develop strategic goals, provide leadership guidance, and assess employee development and performance for RCML supervisors and technicians to support retention and career growth.
- Manage new customer business transitions with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical, development, and customer teams.
- Lead weekly national planning / review meetings focused on continuous improvement, actions, results, and measurable outcomes.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field (Graphic Arts, Color Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline) equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following : graphic arts, color management systems, quality control, ink technical service, business process improvement, project coordination, or supervisory / managerial roles.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); basic knowledge of MS Access .Strong working knowledge of SAP .Excellent oral and written communication skills .Demonstrated project management, leadership, and creative problem-solving abilities.Strong mathematical, organizational, and administrative skills.Preferred Certifications (Not Required)
