Trailer Mechanic - $15-$16 / hour
Location : Danville, IL
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 1st shift.
We're looking for a skilled Trailer Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair trailers to keep them running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and ensuring equipment is in top condition.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Inspect trailers and perform safety checks
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Conduct equipment safety inspections
- Follow all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
