Job Description

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for generating, designing, and revising 2D electrical detail / schematic drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and production assembly drawings (PAD's). The primary focus will be on designing wiring schematics and harness drawings using AutoCAD, along with designing electrical components on SolidWorks. The role requires collaboration with the shop floor to verify fit and function and ensure designs are accurately translated into physical components.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, design, and revise 2D electrical detail / schematic drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and production assembly drawings.
  • Design wiring schematics and harness drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Design electrical components utilizing SolidWorks.
  • Collaborate with the shop floor to verify fit and function of designs.
  • Ensure designs are accurately translated into physical components.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years experience in 2D AutoCAD designing electrical harnesses and / or circuitry.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Certified SolidWorks User (CSWP) certification.

    • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $46.00 / hr.
