Our Legal Team is seeking a hybrid Associate General Counsel. You would be responsible for focusing primarily on government contracts and commercial transactions in a technology-based business. You'll assist senior attorneys on analyzing the various legal risks, business strategies, and other issues related to the Company's fast-growing business. You must be diligent and proactive, show excellent business judgment and strategic thinking, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced team environment. The successful candidate will be able to work with all levels of the Company. The essential duties and responsibilities include :

• Draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including complex sales and services agreements, technology agreements, distribution and dealer agreements that comply with Company policies and risk tolerance.
• Provide advice to all levels of the Company in all areas, including Operations, Business Development, Finance and Engineering, advising on the legal issues and risks, deal structures, negotiation strategy, and company policies and procedures, and using legal concepts that business-minded people can understand.
• Assist with corporate governance and compliance matters.
• Assist in other transactions and matters including employment issues and export compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Develops relationships with team members built on trust and respect.

TrellisWare Technologies pays competitively according to the market in an individual's geographic location, in addition to their qualifications and experience. The posted range is for individuals located in the San Diego, CA area. The pay range for this position is : $160,000-220,000 annually.
