Role Summary :
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Technician – Dialysis to join their patient-focused nephrology care team. In this vital role, you will assist with the delivery of high-quality dialysis treatments, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients with chronic or acute kidney conditions. Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and physicians, you’ll support both the technical and interpersonal aspects of dialysis care.

Key Responsibilities :
Prepare dialysis equipment and ensure all machines and supplies are functioning and ready prior to patient treatments.
Assist with patient admission, vital signs, weight monitoring, and pre-treatment safety checks.
Initiate, monitor, and discontinue dialysis treatments under the direction of a licensed nurse or physician.
Monitor and document patients’ conditions throughout treatment, reporting any abnormal findings promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, ensuring all infection control protocols are followed.
Disinfect and reprocess dialysis machines and equipment per regulatory guidelines and facility protocols.
Support patient education by reinforcing treatment instructions and encouraging adherence to care plans.
Assist in emergency situations as directed, including CPR or basic life support measures when needed.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Completion of a certified Dialysis Technician training program.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of 2 years of dialysis experience in a clinical setting.
Strong understanding of dialysis procedures, infection control, and patient monitoring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patient care and collaborate with the clinical team.
Location and Work Type :
On-site position based in Michigan.
This is a 13-week contract with the potential for extension.
