Seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join the estimating team on a full-time basis out of the corporate office

The ideal candidate is a reliable construction professional with 5-10+ years experience in construction estimating with a focus on steel (Structural, Misc. Metals & Metal Panels). This team member is responsible for analyzing bid package documentation, reviewing project plans and specifications to gain a thorough understanding of the project and generating significant estimating (weekly / monthly / annual targets will be provided and expected hit rates) volume by utilizing the internally created estimating model and dashboard. This position will join a current team of 4 full-time estimators.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

• 5+ years prior estimating experience required, steel experience expected
• A proven track record of successfully estimating construction projects
• Strong organization and clerical abilities
• Ability to work efficient and independent as well as with team members
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications and translate them into accurate estimates
• Comfortable working with multiple estimating projects simultaneously
• Monday - Friday office attendance and dependability is required
• Software experience : Spectrum, Smartsheet, Fabsuite, Microsoft Office
