Greenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company, is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to support the Presidential Helicopter Software Support Activity . This role involves configuring and maintaining complex network environments, supporting mission-critical avionics systems, and ensuring the integrity and availability of network and server resources.

Position Type : Full-Time

Salary : $100k-128k annually (depending upon experience)

Work Location : Onsite.

Essential Functions

  • Configure and maintain Cisco equipment, Voice over IP systems, and virtual server environments.
  • Support unique avionics systems for mission-critical operations.
  • Install, configure, and maintain LANs, data communications networks, operating systems, and physical / virtual servers.
  • Monitor systems and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources.
  • Review system / application logs and ensure completion of scheduled jobs, including backups.
  • Analyze resource consumption and manage user access controls.
  • Install and upgrade software; maintain software licenses.
  • Assist with network emulation / virtualization, analysis, and coordination between hardware and software systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Required

  • Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and intrusion detection / prevention technologies.
  • 3-7 years of experience in IP networking design and architecture.
  • 3-7 years of experience with virtual IOS environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-security environment.

    • Desired

  • 1+ year Cisco Call Manager CUCM, Cisco Meeting Server, desired
  • Cisco CCNA Certification, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification is desired

    • Education

    Candidates must meet ONE of the following :

    Option 1 : Degree Path

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in one of the following fields :
  • Information Technology
  • Cybersecurity
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Data Science
  • Software Engineering

    • Option 2 : Military Training Path

  • Completion of one or more of the following military training courses :
  • DAU DCWF WRC 451 System Administrator – Intermediate Playlist
  • DISA-US1384 DCWF Linux System Administrator
  • DISA-US1390 DCWF Windows Systems Administrator
  • NEC 737A Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) II Manager
  • NEC 738A Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M) System Administrator
  • NEC 746A Information Systems Administrator
  • NEC C37A Cryptologic Infrastructure Maintenance Technician
  • NEC C38A Surface Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP) Technician
  • NEC H09A CANES AN / USQ-208(V) System Administrator / Maintainer
  • NEC T02A AN / BYG-1 (V) TI04 Combat Control Maintenance Technician
  • NEC T04A SSGN Tactical Tomahawk Weapon System (TTWCS) Maintenance Technician

    • Option 3 : Certification Path

  • Possession of one or more of the following certifications :
  • CompTIA Cloud+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

    • Security Clearance

    Active Top Secret clearance required. Must be eligible to obtain a Yankee White clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
