Interventional Radiology Technologist – Full-Time in Texas

Key Responsibilities :
- Assist physicians in performing interventional procedures using fluoroscopy, CT, laser, and ultrasound equipment
- Perform circulating and scrub roles during specialized angiographic and interventional procedures
- Provide patient education and support throughout procedures and recovery
- Monitor and troubleshoot imaging equipment; escalate issues as needed
- Manage inventory and maintain procedural room readiness
- Ensure proper archiving of images in PACS and follow downtime procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and fellow technologists to ensure a smooth workflow
- Participate in safety, quality assurance, and continuous education initiatives
- Adhere to hospital policies, confidentiality standards, and patient-centered care practices
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology programARRT certification in Radiography (R) requiredVascular Interventional Radiography (VI) certification required within 2 years of hireValid state licensure (e.g., Texas MRT by TMB)BLS certification required; ACLS preferred1 year of experience in special procedures or interventional radiology preferredBasic computer skills and familiarity with PACS systemsStrong communication, critical thinking, and adaptabilityCompensation & Benefits :
