  • Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 5-bed acute care setting\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (October 10, 2025 – January 9, 2026)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (primarily nights, some days, every 3rd weekend)\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $2070–$2220\n
  • Charting Systems : Paragon-Hospital, Allscripts Touch Works\n

    • \n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Minnesota RN license or willingness to obtain)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience\n
  • Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC\n
  • Ability to float to Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) unit as needed\n
  • Proficiency with ICU drips (Cardizem, Insulin, Propofol, Versed, Vasopressors) and ventilator management (Hamilton C-1)\n

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU\n
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 2 : 1 for optimal patient care\n
  • Monitor and administer medications, including complex intravenous drips\n
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy staff\n
  • Respond to medical emergencies and care for stroke, STEMI, non-STEMI, and other acute conditions\n
  • Accurately document patient care using Paragon and Allscripts EHR systems\n
  • Participate in orientation (1-2 shifts) and work every 3rd weekend and scheduled holidays\n
