  • Licenses : Missouri license and DEA required
  • Board : BC / BE in Primary Care (not required); EM experience required
  • DEA : Required
  • Certifications : ACLS, PALS, ATLS (ATLS only required for Medical Director); must be obtained within 6 months
  • Experience : Prior EM experience required
  • Other Qualifications :
  • CME from past 2 years
  • Procedure logs
  • Flu, TB, Medical clearance
  • BNDD license
  • COVID vaccine or approved exemption
  • MMR x2 or titers
  • Varicella x2 or titers
  • Hepatitis B antibody (quantitative)
  • Tdap
  • Quantiferon TB or 2-step PPD (or post-positive CXR)

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide emergency medicine coverage in a 10-bed ED
  • Work 12-hour shifts with 24-hour physician coverage
  • Treat a range of emergency presentations including trauma, minor care, and triage
  • Accept moonlighting residents
  • Accurately document care in Power Docs EMR
