Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Surgical Services located in Schenectady, NY. The Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the surgical services department which includes the operating room, perioperative services, and post-anesthesia care units. Duties include managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, improving patient care quality, and implementing best practices in surgical services. The Director will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in Perioperative and Operating Room management
• Expertise in Medicine and Surgery
• Knowledge in Post Anesthesia Care
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective patient care strategies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
• Relevant healthcare management experience is preferred
• Current nursing or healthcare administration licensure
