MAPS Staffing is now hiring dedicated in-person Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025 / 2026 school year! We're proud to offer exciting opportunities across the Chicagoland area serving Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. Caseloads and school placements are thoughtfully tailored to your strengths and preferences, and there's always room to extend year after year!

Compensation

Hourly : $50-$60

Position Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Illinois State SLP License or ability to obtain

Active PEL or ability to obtain

ASHA Certification (not required for CFY)

Active BLS Certification (AHA)

Strong communication, collaboration & organizational skills

Experience with pediatric / adolescent populations (preferred)

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed in school settings

Your Role as an SLP

As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will :

Assess students to identify speech / language needs

Develop individualized IEP goals to drive progress

Provide engaging one-on-one & group therapy

Collaborate with educators and support staff

Implement AAC / assistive tech as needed

Track and report student growth & performance

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Job Details

Position Type : Full-Time Contract

Schedule : 35-40 hours / week | Follows school district calendar

Caseload : 40-55 students (varies by placement)
