About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

• Minimum of 1 year of Epic experience
• Weekend coverage required

Description :

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical surgical unit.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Patient ratios are 5 : 1 for all shifts.

Floating to other units may be required based on census concerns.

Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified.

Key skills include managing ports, administering blood products, and care management for various conditions.

Candidates should be competent in wound care, tracheostomy care, and managing IVs.

Support services available in the unit include physical therapy and respiratory services.

Daily census in the unit is approximately 23 patients.

The unit primarily caters to adult patients, focusing on medical and surgical cases.
