A company is looking for an Assistant Actuary - Pharmacy (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and direct the work of analysts, ensuring sound actuarial principles are applied and results communicated effectively
Coordinate activities of the Actuarial Staff, ensuring timely release of analyses and reports while providing training and performance feedback
Develop and release financial analysis reports for upper management, interpreting data and presenting findings clearly
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification required upon hire
5 years of health actuarial reporting and valuation experience
1 year of supervisory experience or demonstrated progressive leadership experience
Familiarity with actuarial, mathematical, and statistical procedures
