Family Practice Physician - Critical Access Hospital

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician (MD or DO) to join a 25-bed critical access hospital in Shell Lake, WI.

• Work four weekdays in clinics with rotating ER call (4-6 weeks nights / month, every 4th or 5th weekend).
• Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnostics, treatment, and preventative services.
• Participate in hospital rounds, ER, and hospital call rotations, collaborating with staff to ensure quality care.
• Utilize EMR systems, stay current with medical advancements, and promote effective communication.

Requirements include board certification, WI license (or in process), current DEA, and BLS, ACLS, ATLS certification (PALS and CALS preferred). Must provide compassionate care, maintain licensure, and pass pre-employment screenings.
