Location

Based in San Francisco, CA. Hybrid role – candidate must be able to attend the San Francisco office 2‑3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Define best‑in‑class processes to meet all ŌURA design and operational requirements.
• Partner with Quality Engineers, Material Engineers, and Product Designers to optimize product design and manufacturing processes for cost, cosmetics, and reliability.
• Identify, research, develop, and qualify equipment manufacturers and suppliers in support of ŌURA’s hardware development goals.
• Use data to drive process decisions and influence product and industrial design, including part tolerances and specifications.
• Drive suppliers globally to establish and optimize manufacturing processes for ŌURA’s mechanical components, ensuring best‑in‑class quality and resolving production issues.
• Develop and document processes, parameters, consumables and secondary operation requirements to meet defined specifications.
• Work with Sourcing Managers to define and establish supply‑chain requirements utilizing selected equipment and manufacturing partners.
• Provide leadership and support at manufacturing sites during development and production ramp.
• Work with engineering and other cross‑functional teams to drive issues to resolution.

Salary

Region 1 : $162,000 – $203,000. (US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost‑of‑labor index. Pays are determined by location, role, and experience.)
