Job Title : Welding Supervisor

Location : Burnsville

Pay : $33 - 35 / hour

Schedule : 7-3PM

Sansom Staffing has partnered with e leading manufacturer in the south metro.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Welding Supervisor to lead our team of MIG and TIG welders in a fast-paced fabrication environment. This role involves both leadership and direct involvement in welding operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and mentor who thrives in a production setting and takes pride in high-quality fabrication work, primarily using 90% mild steel .

Key Responsibilities :

Lead, train, and supervise a team of MIG and TIG welders and fabricators.

Set daily priorities and ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to spec.

Perform hands-on welding and fabrication alongside the team.

Ensure adherence to welding procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Collaborate with production managers and engineers to interpret blueprints and job requirements.

Maintain tools, equipment, and shop organization.

Provide performance feedback, troubleshoot technical issues, and mentor junior welders.

Requirements :

5+ years of welding experience (MIG & TIG), including fabrication.

Laser Welding Machine experience required

Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols.

Strong working knowledge of mild steel (90% of work), with some experience in stainless and aluminum.
