Cleveland Clinic, one of the worlds most distinguished academic medical centers and ranked by U.S.

News & World Report announces a search for a THREE Outpatient Child Psychologists in our

growing Department of Pediatric Behavioral Health and Neurosciences.

Primary Duties : This position will support our expansion of mental health care through regions in all ofNortheast Ohio. Current focus is in Akron, Canton, and Cuyahoga Falls, but we are also expanding

into Northeast and Northwest Ohio. The psychologist will develop and implement several outpatient

service lines related to the wide range of psychological conditions that present across our region

(opportunity to specialize in an area of interest is supported). Treatments will include in-person, virtual, and group therapies. The psychologist will also serve as a local lead of 2-4 masters level clinicians or psychologists in training working in the same location. Finally, the psychologist will partner with our larger team of psychologists and masters level clinicians as a team of teams to successfully manage care across the many regions that the Cleveland Clinic serves.

Other Opportunities : This position has opportunities to build clinical integration in other medical

divisions, (e.g., Neurology, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics). This psychologist will also

participate in supervising masters level providers in outpatient treatment settings. There are also

opportunities for program development and integration of clinical and quality improvement research.

Being a staff psychologist at the Cleveland Clinic also offers opportunities in program development

and implementation, and opportunities for teaching learners from a variety of health disciplines. Staff

may also participate in our Psychology Fellowship Program and our APA-accredited Psychology

Residency Program.

Faculty and Staff Development : Employment at the Cleveland Clinic allows for opportunities in

research and professional development. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with

experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve

University. Board Certification via the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), which is

required to advance from Associate Staff to Full Staff, is fully supported and funded by the Cleveland

Clinic Childrens Institute.

Qualifications : Doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology, with APA approved

internship, licensure in Ohio and at least one year of post-doctoral experience in a clinical child or

pediatric psychology setting.
