Job Summary

News 12 is looking for a Studio Director to direct live and taped newscasts and programs using studio automation. To operate production equipment technically and creatively and to lead activities of studio crews. The ideal candidate will have the ability to direct studio productions through accurate calling and coordination of video, audio, and graphics elements for distribution across all platforms. This is part-time, 32 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee studio productions for quality control.
• Work with producers to execute details of effective programs.
• Follow graphic format stylebook in production of programs.
• Direct and coordinate efforts of assigned studio personnel.
• Be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate / range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $47,205.60-$77,551.20 / year. The rate / range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
