RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Maintain 2 : 1 or 1 : 1 patient ratios depending on acuity
• Weekend requirements : 6 weekend shifts per schedule for night shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Work with 20-bed ICU unit alongside charge nurse and 10 RNs per shift
• Experience required with cardiac monitoring and rhythms
• Must have experience with titratable drips and understanding of hemodynamics
• Experience required with respiratory patients including vents, BiPap, trachs, and Airvo
• Preferred experience with CRRT and SLED dialysis
• Participate in procedures including central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, lumbar punctures, and intubations
• Work with GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Prismax CRRT, and Tablo SLED equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Dress code requires navy scrubs
• Must demonstrate team player qualities with positive attitude and adaptability
