Director, Product Management
Strategic Product Leader driving enterprise-wide AI transformation to amplify Cox Automotive employee performance. Provides leadership and oversight to the Everyday AI product group, focusing on persona-based solutions that create seamless integration across multiple AI platforms. Orchestrates how AI tools work together to eliminate system friction and deliver consistent, intuitive experiences whether employees use Microsoft Copilot, Claude Enterprise, Salesforce AgentForce, or other solutions. Works in a matrix structure with engineering teams responsible for everyday AI tool development and collaborates with vertical product leaders who own function-specific solutions for sales, client operations, and other business areas. Directs product strategy from discovery through implementation, ensuring AI capabilities complement each other to maximize organizational productivity.
PRIMARY DUTIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct, monitor and evaluate the activities of Everyday AI product team.
- Build and lead high-performing team across product management, training, change, and program execution
- Continuously develop talent in alignment with AI talent transformation efforts.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Everyday AI strategy that focused on amplifying performance of Cox Automotive team members.
- Set vision for how AI capabilities complement each other to maximize employee productivity
- Partner with cross-functional AI Product Leaders to align with function-specific transformation goals, while maintaining enterprise coherence.
- Establish standards for AI tool interoperability and consistent UX principles
- Design integration strategies that enable smooth transitions between AI tools within employee workflows
- Orchestrate a cohesive AI ecosystem across multiple platforms (Microsoft Copilot, Claude Enterprise, Salesforce AgentForce, etc.)
- Drive organizational alignment by identifying AI opportunities that enhance employee efficiency
- Facilitate knowledge sharing to scale successful use cases
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with cohesive experience goals
- Oversee messaging for new AI products and the development and implementation of a successful business readiness strategy
- Define enterprise-wide productivity metrics and demonstrate tangible ROI
- Ensures that projects / products meet or exceed quality standards while not exceeding cost or time constraints
- Monitor and provide management with end-to-end visibility across all Everyday AI activities, including current areas of focus, issues, budget / costs, near- and longer-term priorities and business impact
- Direct the development, recommendation and execution of applicable policies that meet strategic objectives and lead to process improvements
Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field with at least 5 years' experience in a management or lead role; or a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; or PhD and 5 years' experience or 18 years' experience in a related fieldMBA or advanced technical degree preferredAI / ML certifications (Azure AI, AWS ML, Google Cloud AI) highly valuedDeep understanding of AI / ML technologies, LLMs, and generative AIKnowledge of enterprise AI platforms and integration architecturesFamiliarity with data governance and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and AI servicesExperience with API management and data pipelinesHands-on experience with AI platforms (Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)8+ years leading enterprise-wide business transformations with technology, focused on employee experience and adoption5+ years in product management, with 3+ years in AI / ML productsUnderstanding of how business functions operate - including sales, service, finance, marketing, HR, and operations workflowsExperience working with or within multiple business departments to understand their unique processes, pain points, and technology needsProven track record driving cultural change at scaleExperience with persona-based design and employee journey mappingDemonstrated ability translating technical capabilities into human valueExperience managing direct reports and working with matrixed teamsTeam player with excellent work habits and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTravel varies, but will be approximately 25%Other duties as needed or requiredRequires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirements.Drug Testing
