Job description

Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.

  • Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
  • Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
  • Obtains and interprets patient information to determine nursing needs.
  • Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including review of systems, with appropriate documentation.
  • Completes admission assessments within established timeframes according to policy and procedures.

    • Requirements :

  • NIHSS, BLS & ACLS – Required
  • CPI – Required (Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training)
  • BSN – Highly desired
  • Current RN license in state / district – Required
  • Med / Surg Experience – Required : 2 Years
  • Cerner Experience – Required
  • RN Experience – Required : 2 Years
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
