Overview

Instrumentation & Equipment Technicians will work in one or more of the following areas :

  • Troubleshooting and repair of all items making up the test cell facility, including drive systems, fuel systems, dynamometers, pumps, heaters, heat exchangers, collecting motor vibration data, filter replacement, installing and calibrating cell transducers, harness and wiring troubleshooting, etc.
  • Installation, calibration, set-up, and troubleshooting of exhaust gas emission measurement equipment.
  • Equipment preventive and predictive maintenance work

Requirements

  • Degree – High School Diploma; Associate's Degree
  • 3+ years of hands on electrical and / or mechanical experience
  • Nice to have – someone who has worked with emissions or in an emissions lab before
  • Calibration experience
  • Metrology – science of measurement and application, how data is measured

  • There are 6 openings and a variety of shift options :
  • 1st Sun-Wed 6AM-4 : 30PM
  • 1st Wed-Sat 6am-4 : 30PM
  • 2nd Sun-Wed 4PM-2 : 30AM
  • 2nd Mon-Fri 2PM-10 : 30PM
  • 2nd Wed-Sat 4PM-2 : 30AM
  • 3rd Sun-Wed 9PM-7 : 30AM
  • 3rd Mon-Fri 10PM-6 : 30AM
  • 3rd Wed-Sat 9PM-7 : 30AM
  • 4 days / 10 hours
  • 5 days / 8 hours
