Job Title : Picker for the Warehouse

POSITION SUMMARY :

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

80% loading and unloading product – lifting between 10 and 50 pounds at a time

5% Inventory control

15% drive a forklift and pallet jack

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

Break down and build orders

Load and unload product form and to trucks

Able to drive forklift and electric stand-up pallet jack

Must learn to use scanner gun and program (wizard)

Drive to different location to deliver product

Conduct inventories to drivers on a weekly basis both physically and electronically.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Ability to follow OSHA standards of safety and guidelines to ensure compliance

Must be comfortable in a warehouse environment / exposure to heat, cold and loud noise

Ability to start work at 4 : 00am, ability work overtime on some days,

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Constantly lifting 10-50lbs at a time

Education and experience :

Previous knowledge of Safety and GMP’s

Previous experience in a warehouse / manufacturing environment
