Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Configuration Analyst to join a team responsible for performing Configuration Management (CM) activities related to the design, development, and production of complex systems in a defense environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage changes to approved configurations using a systematic measurable change process.
- Deliver and maintain the engineering technical data package (TDP) and apply CM processes in accordance with the CM Plan.
- Support configuration management and quality audits and develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity, using guidance from company policies and procedures.
Skills Preferred
Experience applying industry or government configuration management standards (e.g., MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, EIA-649, ASME Y14.24, Y14.100).Formal training in Configuration Data Management (CDM).Advanced MS Excel (complex formulas), MS Access.Experience managing BOM structures, Oracle ERP systems, or familiarity with CMMI requirements.Experience
Required : 2 years of configuration analyst experience.Preferred : Prior experience working in Department of Defense (DoD) environments.Education
Required : Associate's Degree or 4 years of CM experience.Preferred : Bachelor's Degree.Additional Information
