About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Current nursing license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Experience with cardiovascular surgery
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Strong clinical skills in relevant procedures

Description : UNIT DETAILS :

Rotation schedule will be discussed during the interview.

On-call duty is required and varies, typically one weekday call each week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.

Floating may occur within the facility and scope of practice as needed.

Minimum experience required is 2 years, and the unit accepts first-time travelers.

Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit.

If they pass the clinical review, they will be sent to management for final decision.

Request time off is maximized at 7 days.

If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work.

If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both.

If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of those holidays.

Major holidays include : Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day.

Full compliance is required to start on time.

Local candidates are accepted and will receive the same rate.

Candidates must complete core items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start.

Candidates are not permitted to self-schedule, and management reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to support the needs of the unit.

References from two supervisory individuals are highly preferred at the time of submission.

Candidates with previous charge experience and those familiar with adult and geriatric patient populations are encouraged to apply.
