The position is responsible for assisting the kitchen and food servers with food service, proper set-up and maintenance of functioning spaces, as well as serving guests and keeping the side stations clean and well stocked.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
Be a brand advocate by providing Guests with accurate information regarding our venues, menus, and pricingAnticipate guest’s needs and ensure they are met per the company’s service standardsReceives food and ensures proper presentationDeliver food to restaurant areas. Promptly deliver all orders to appropriate sections and tables. Ensure that all ordered food is announced to guests at their tablesEnsure that food ordered by guests is served properlyProvide service to cocktail and food servers in a timely mannerInform Manager / Server if guests have any issues when food is deliveredUnderstand the food temperature danger zoneAssist with loading / unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage productAssist in set up, service, and break down of areas as assigned. Assist with the movement of tables / chairs through the restaurant as needed and dictated by service and management directionWorking knowledge of product identificationCheck tables, chairs, countertops for cleanliness, as well as, service stationsClean spills, debris, or broken glass according to guidelines of Company / departmental policy / proceduresInform management of any complaint, comments or incident. Respond to guest concerns / complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitudeComply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws. Maintain company safety and sanitation standardsAppear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled timeKeep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash, etc. throughout shift. Clean all spills and waste immediately and place all trash in proper receptaclesInform management of any complaint, comments or incidentMaintain line of sight / atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shiftEnsure nightly / weekly and opening / running / closing duties are completedRecord and report any equipment failure and / or safety hazards to a Manager immediatelyAssist and / or complete additional tasks as assignedTRAINING REQUIREMENTS :
Tao Group Hospitality in-venue trainingEDUCATION / WORKING KNOWLEDGE :
Minimum of six (6) months experience in hospitality working in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or nightclubPrevious culinary experience preferredKnowledge of drink recipesOpening and closing dutiesSanitation and safetySKILLS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE
